The year end meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Homer for the year 2012 held in the board room of the Town Hall Building on Friday, December 28th, 2012, was called to order by Supervisor Frederick J. Forbes at 12:05 p.m.

BILLS TO BE PAID
General bills were approved as audited on motion by Councilman Young, seconded by Councilman Weddle and carried unanimously: RESOLVED: that General vouchers #305 through #339 totaling $16,022.02 be approved for payment.
Highway bills were approved as audited on motion by Councilman Warren, seconded by Councilman Williams and carried unanimously: RESOLVED: that Highway vouchers #203 through #213 totaling $14,887.94 be approved for payment.
Supervisor Forbes explained that Code Enforcement Officer John Daniels plans to be in Florida for a couple of months and that he had asked Kevin McMahon to cover in his absence.
On motion by Supervisor Forbes, seconded by Councilman Warren and carried unanimously: RESOLVED: that Kevin McMahon be appointed as a temporary Code Enforcement Officer and Fire Code Officer for the Town of Homer.
Highway Superintendent Phelps reported that he has placed two Town-owned trucks – the 2000 Oshkosh, and the 1979 Walters – for sale on an internet auction site.
ATTORNEY FOR THE TOWN
Attorney Snyder reported that three subdivisions will be coming up for Planning Board consideration on January 23rd. The Planning Board is in need of two new members. Supervisor Forbes said that he will be appointing new members at the January 2nd meeting.
On behalf of the Board Supervisor Forbes thanked the Town Attorney, the Town Justice, Highway Superintendent and the Town Clerk’s Office staff for their service over the past year.
