PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that public hearings will be held by the Homer Town Board on March 2, 2022, at 6: 30 p.m. at the Town hall basement regarding proposed Local Laws Number 2 and 3 for 2022. Proposed Local Law No. 2 would amend the zoning law to allow for event centers such as “wedding barns” to be permitted by special permit in the Agricultural District provided that certain conditions concerning setbacks and lot size are met. Proposed Local Law No. 3 would create an incentive program for full time town employees who have the option of obtaining health insurance from another source and thereby relieve the town of that financial obligation. All interested persons will be heard. Copies of the proposed local laws are available for inspection at the Homer Town Hall.
